We recently announced the modernised version of Insync’s Alignment and Engagement Survey – a shorter, more contemporary AES designed to improve the respondent experience while preserving the strength of the measure.
At its core, the AES is built on a simple idea: organisations perform best when people understand where the organisation is heading and feel motivated and supported to contribute to it. Alignment provides that clarity and direction, while engagement reflects the energy, commitment and pride people bring to their work. Together, they create the conditions for sustained performance.
The modernised AES reflects this same logic, but in a more focused and efficient way, retaining what matters most while making it easier for people to respond.
Below is a short article, The art and science of organisational success, which explains the AES framework and the research that supports it.
For organisations planning their next employee survey, it offers a useful lens on what good measurement now looks like: focused, evidence-based and designed to lead to action.
